Final conference of the hydrogen flagship project TransHyDE

From April 25 to 27, 2025, the federal hydrogen lead project TransHyDE came to a close. The project examined and evaluated various transportation options for hydrogen across Germany.
Scientists and guests from industry, politics and interested members of the public came together at the Futurium in Berlin to discuss the results.
Presentations, pitches, panels, exhibits and a poster session offered a varied program. A particular highlight was the discussion "Quo vadis energy research" with participants from the BMWK, the National Hydrogen Council and the German Bundestag.
ITEP was represented with the AppLHy project, which focused on cryogenic liquid hydrogen and synergies with superconducting components, for example.
Our research on this topic will continue even after the end of TransHyDE.
