When I look back on my training as an industrial clerk at ITEP, I am glad I made this decision.
I find the insights into research and the varied tasks associated with it particularly exciting.
The support is very good and attaches great importance to my personal and professional development.
As I feel I'm in good hands here, I'm continuing my studies in a dual study program (industrial engineering).
As a dual student at the ITEP, I enjoy the unique combination of theory and practice.
I particularly appreciate the collegial collaboration with experienced scientists and the opportunity to work directly on current research projects.
The balance between the study phases at the DHBW and the practical phases at ITEP enables me to continuously deepen and apply my knowledge.
During my training as an industrial clerk, I enjoyed the variety of tasks that I encountered on a daily basis.
In addition to the central units, training at KIT also offers insights into research institutes such as the ITEP.

The dual study program to become an industrial engineer at ITEP enables me to get to know the various research projects in a team that is almost like a family. Particularly noteworthy is the opportunity to help shape your own areas of responsibility according to your personal interests and to provide noticeable added value for ITEP. You receive comprehensive support from, for example, supervisors and work materials for the practical phases as well as for the theory phases at the DHBW.
The dual study program in industrial engineering at ITEP combines theoretical training at DHBW with practical work on current research projects. In a collegial environment with experienced scientists, students have the opportunity to help shape their own areas of responsibility according to their personal interests and actively contribute to the success of the institute. The close integration of theoretical and practical phases is effectively supported by comprehensive supervision and suitable work equipment.
As an international student at the DHBW, the dual study programme at ITEP gives me the opportunity to achieve my personal and professional goals whilst gaining valuable practical experience in an international working environment. I particularly appreciate the open and supportive working atmosphere, as well as the chance to discover new perspectives. The close link between theory and practice helps me to apply my knowledge directly and to integrate successfully into a new environment.
What I find most inspiring about the dual study programme is the opportunity to combine theory and practice. During my time at ITEP, I am working on a wide variety of tasks and gaining valuable experience in an innovative research environment. After completing my school education in Bolivia, I came to Germany to prepare myself as effectively as possible for my future career as an industrial engineer, with the help of the StartDual.international programme and the dual study partner.
My time at ITEP has shown me just how varied training as an industrial clerk can be. As well as carrying out commercial tasks, I was able to learn about working in a research institute and gain an insight into exciting projects. I have particularly fond memories of the helpful team and the pleasant working atmosphere. Thanks to the wide range of tasks, I was able to gain a lot of new experience and expand my knowledge in a practical setting.
