Danilo Di Berardino graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics Engineering in 2022 and a Master's degree in Electrical Energy Engineering in 2024, from Alma Mater Studiorum University of Bologna, Italy. He is currently working as a PhD student in the "Real Time System Integration" group at the Institute of Technical Physics (ITEP).
His research focuses on hydrogen for energy purposes: development of control strategies, simulations and techno-economic assessments.
He also serves as Technical Lead of the AEMflex project on modular AEM electrolysis for flexible grid integration.
