Biography
Muhammad Abdullah Malik received his BSc degree in mechanical engineering from University of Wah, WahCantt, Punjab, Pakistan in 2020 and did his masters in thermofluids in 2023 from Dongguk University, Seoul, South Korea. He is currently pursuing his PhD in “Energy and Power Quality Management in Accelerator Facilities” as a part of EU horizon project under the Prof. Giovanni De Carne.
His research interests include modeling of thermal processes, energy systems, and their techno-economic analysis. He works on mathematical optimization, control, and applied machine learning for the planning, operation, and maintenance of energy supply systems.
His work focuses on predictive control approaches, including the integration of forecasting methods, the study of ageing in energy storage technologies, and the design and validation of high-level set-point control strategies using AI-assisted techniques.
