Welcome to the IEEE PESS 2026!

The PESS is a unique forum for students, young professionals, and early-career researchers in electrical power engineering to explore cutting-edge developments and pressing challenges in the energy sector.
This year’s summit is proudly hosted by the Institute for Technical Physics (ITEP) at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) and will take place in Karlsruhe.
Organized by KIT and supported by the IEEE PES Germany Chapter, PESS brings together academia and industry to foster dialogue, share innovative ideas, and strengthen professional networks.
Participants will have the opportunity to present original research, engage in technical discussions, and gain valuable insights into the future of power and energy systems.
All submitted papers undergo peer review, and accepted contributions will be published in IEEE Xplore.
Registration is free for student participants.
