Cooperations and networks

The Institute for Technical Physics (ITEP) is part of numerous national and international cooperations. It is involved in the following programs within the network of "Helmholtz-Gemeinschaft Deutscher Forschungszentren":

  • Nuclear Fusion (FUSION)
  • Storage and icross-linked infrastructures (SCI)
  • Matter and the universe (MU)

An overview on KIT wide activities in the field of superconductivity is given here http://www.supra.kit.edu/index.php?Lng=E

International collaborations exist in the framework of the European Fusion Programme, projects of the European Union and an IEA-Implementing Agreement. (IEA: Implementing Agreement for a Co-Operative Programme for Assessing the Impacts of High-Temperature Superconductivity on the Electric Power Sector). http://www.superconductivityiea.org/
