The ITEP offers students of fields like physics, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, Information Technology, chemical & process engineering, business administration and engineering and similar the opportunity to perform internships, student projects as well as Diploma theses.
Physicist, mechanical engineers and electrical engineers are provided with pursuits of the R&D program of the institution, which are appropriate for a dissertation. The offer contains normally theoretical and experimental tasks. Doctorands are accompanied by special advanced education (“The skill of presenting oneself”) as well as the yearly summer-school program, which contains the summer-school “Fusion” and the European summer-school “Superconductor materials and applications”.
